I've been procrastinating on this post for an awfully long time and I know it's really bad of me, but it's finally here! :)

It was a very fun week, even though working was super tiring with early mornings and late nights (usually hungover mornings and drunken nights too!!)
All guests and workers stayed on boats for the week but our captain got delayed in transit so we were checked into hotels at each stop!

For the first two nights we stayed on Virgin Gorda in a lovely hotel called Saba Rock.
We were in charge of setting up the sponsor flags, gazebos, finish flag, food and water tents for the racers - we had to set up and take down the beach each day as each race finished on a different beach or island. It was much harder work than it sounds!!
We sailed over to the beautiful island of Anegada and ate the world famous lobster for our dinner. I'm not exactly a lobster connoisseur but it was certainly delicious!

|Party on Anegada!|
The pirate party was on the 2nd to last night and was so much fun. I love dressing up and some of the other costumes were amazing! Needless to say I wasn't feeling too fresh at 7am the next morning when I woke up to start working again!
I managed to get heatstroke on that day, partly from being dehydrated and hungover but also because it was overcast and I forgot to apply sunscreen. I got really burnt too! (MORAL ALERT: If you're somewhere tropical always drink lots of water and apply sunscreen, even if it's cloudy, because the sun can still get you! I learned the hard way.)
Overall HIHO was great fun, especially getting to captain a huge catamaran!
