Review: Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Luscious Long Deep Treatment

Hey guys! I've got a review of a really great product for you today. I won the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner in a giveaway on Tanya's blog, I've heard such good things about Aussie hair care products so I was really excited to try it out.

I've used it a couple of times now and I have to admit that I'm a total Aussie convert. I just wish I'd discovered Aussie hair products long before now! Tanya obviously knows me well, because she sent me the one for long hair - and boy has my hair gotten long! Some of you will remember a while back I wrote a few hair posts about keeping it cleaner for longer and growing it long and strong - well both of those were written in November and I still haven't cut it since (it's been almost 2 years now I think!)...

I did go through a phase where I was getting a few headaches because it was so heavy, and I still can't wear it in a ponytail for too long without it starting to ache, but the rubbishy short layers have finally grown out some and I'm actually enjoying just wearing it down! Following my strategy I've still managed to keep the split ends at bay and make sure my hair doesn't need washing too often (it takes well over an hour to wash and dry entirely!) The above photo is actually 2 days since a wash - including a hefty night out in the middle!

Before I started using the Aussie conditioner I had noticed it was starting to look a little dry around the edges, but since then my hair has been looking healthy as ever.

"3 Minute Miracle Luscious Long Deep Treatment for long hair beggin for a treat. Our intensive treatment formula, with Australian Eucalyptus extract and Avocado Oil, penetrates and nourishes each shaft. From root to tip. In a nutshell, it cares for dry and damaged long hair by helping to reduce breakage associated with combing"

Aussie don't lie - this stuff really is a miracle! The first time I used this, before even washing it out I could feel the effect it was having on my hair. I've found in the past that intensive moisturisers can often do a great job for a day or two and then turn hair mega greasy after that or really dry it out, but that didn't happen with the 3 Minute Miracle - I just had gorgeous, silky soft shiny hair for days. I am SO impressed. I can stop touching it!! Not to mention that it smells amazing - a bit like coconut to me - and the smell stays in your hair for days on end.

I will absolutely be taking this on holiday with me - especially with the humidity and the heat it's going to be a great product for keeping the dry and frizz at bay! The only problem is that it doesn't have a closed lid it just has like a squeezey hole thing and I have a feeling that it's going to end up all over the inside of my suitcase unless I think of some way to pack it safely!

Have you used the 3 Minute Miracle, or any other Aussie products? ♥

  1. I love love LOVE this product!!!! Also use the Luscious Long one and besides the utterly divine mouth watering smell it really does make one hair feel silky soft. I use at least once a week as a treatment but in the beginning to repair my hair I used it every time and it didn't cause any build-up so super impressed.

  6. I love Aussie too, works much better than tigi etc and half the price! You could try squeezing it into an empty jar or bottle, or just wrap it in a carrier bag and hope for the best! x

    1. I've never really tried any of the "good" hair products - I always tend to just buy whatever is cheapest in the shop. I'll def be getting this from now on! And I think I'm going for plastic bag in my suitcase! Although putting it in another bottle is a great idea xxxx

  9. Oh your hair is lovely, I'm jealous! :)

I Love Aussie stuff, I haven't tried the 3 mm for long hair yet, as I used to get the colour one, but I don't dye it anymore and now its longer lol. I take the miracle moist ones on holiday (they smell gorgeous!) and just decant them into travel bottles, but since you're going for a long time, maybe put a plastic bag over it, and in something sturdy like a shoe?

  16. This is one of my favourite conditioners :) I swear by it as well
    I use this one too,
I wish my hair was as long as yours, I am so jealous,
Agree with the squinty end, I wish they'd put a lid on it instead, it is a nightmare going away, you either have to chuck it or use it all up,
They do miniatures btw :) maybe you could pop them in your suitcase?

  17. i know it's 2013 now, but let's go back in 2012 when you wrote this article and tell me....2 years and not trimming your hair? no split ends in 2 years? I don't think is possible...

    1. I wasn't sent this item for review, or paid for this post (or the other two I wrote relating to my hair) - so I have no reason to lie. I just think that having healthy hair is really important and to do this without having to spend tonnes on chemicals and fancy hair products seems like the best way to me. Of course my hair was not split end free but there were practically none - especially not for two years worth. All it takes is a good routine of not washing your hair more than every 3/4 days to let the natural oils do their job, using natural but intensive leave-in moisture conditioners without harsh chemicals, not colouring the hair at all :) Thanks for your comment! Xxx
