My name is Sue and I have a nail blog called "Creative Nail Design by Sue" on blogger. I basically do all sorts of nail posts but mainly nail designs. I love nails and polish but I also love pugs. I try not to write about them too much because not all nail blog followers are also pug lovers. When Rachael said she was looking for guest bloggers to write on a topic that interests them, I thought, here's my chance. Not to say everyone who follows Rachael loves pugs but some of you might at least be entertained by it. So, thanks Rachael.
I have had pugs for eight years and have always been in love with them. When I got my first pug, I started going to a pug meetup with other pug owners and it grew and grew. The group started to do work with the Green Mountain Pug Rescue in Northeastern US. I was motivated by this important cause so I jumped onboard. I have always been into crafty things and my mom taught me to sew early on. She and I begun a trend of making costumes annually for my two pugs Elmer and Roxy. The more interest in the event, the more money raised for this great cause. So, here is some of our work....
That's a snapshot of some of my favorites. And for anyone shocked and concerned....don't be. They are not the slightest bit bothered by it and are just patiently waiting for the piece of hot dog they are going to get once the camera snaps the shot. And, it is all for a good cause. So, thanks again to Rachael for the opportunity and I hope you are enjoying your stay in Tortola. A little slice of heaven on earth.
Thank you so much to Sue for writing this great guest post. The pugs are adorable and the costumes are so creative, my personal favourite is of course Roxy Marley! Even better that it's all for a good cause too. Please be sure to check out Sue's blog and show her some love - her nail designs are as creative as her pug costumes!
