Review: Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Souffle

Hey lovelies. Recently I reviewed the Cucumber Peel-Off Masque and I mentioned that I have a few more too. I'm always wary of trying the mud-masques because I've had bad allergic reactions to them in the past but I got home from a tough day volunteering at the BVI Humane Society a little bit sunburned and decided to try out the Strawberry Souffle Moisturising and Purifying Masque.

This masque contains strawberry, aloe vera and vanilla and recommends you use once a week in order to keep your skin hydrated and looking beautiful.

The masque comes out a pretty pearly pink colour and smells absolutely incredible, if you're a fan of sweet smells and strawberries you will LOVE this masque! It applies really nice and thick, again I reckon you could get two uses out of the packet if you could figure out a way to stop it from drying out. I noticed it has little micro-beads in it too, that it doesn't mention on the packet - these feel great when washing it off.

After taking it off I immediately noticed that my skin felt so smooth and soft and my skin tone looked much more even. My face still smells like strawberries and feels nice and tingly fresh too. Plus points because I didn't have an allergic reaction to it. I'll definitely be buying this one again.

Have you tried this masque or any other Montagne Jeunesse products? ♥

  2. That sound fantastic. I love yummy smelling skincare products, but I, like you, have skin sensitivities so most times I just avoid them.

    1. I avoid them most of the time unless I'm sure they won't affect me. I hate the horrible rash I always get! xxx

    1. Oh no that's such a shame. I've had fun with eczema before in various places so I know how horrid it can be. I got lucky not having a reaction to this mask! xxx

  7. This is gorgeous and my favourite of all masks :)
the smell reminds me of angel delight or milkshake,

I pop mine in the fridge after using half and fold the packet in half - it works everytime,
I tried the new blueberry one last night, its just as nice as the strawberry :)

  9. i tried that one last year. i loved how it smelled but sadly, it made me break out really bad. i happen to have very sensitive skin so a lot of products don't work well with me. :(

    1. This is the same problem I have - so I think I'm very lucky when I find a product that doesn't bring me up in a rash! I was lucky with this one and I'm glad because it smells good enough to eat xx

  10. I have never tried these - but I always look at them. Ulta has them B2G1 this week, so I picked up 3 different ones to try out. I'm excited to see what they're like - I have never really used masques before but I've always been curious!

    1. They are pretty fun to put on and do make your skin feel great afterwards. I'm not sure how lasting the effects are unless you were to use them twice a week like they suggest! xxx
