Halloween Inspiration featuring Jokers' Masquerade

Dressing up is just about one of my favourite things to do and since Halloween is fast approaching I thought I'd do a bit of an inspiration post with all of my previous outfits - hopefully I will give you all some great ideas for putting together the perfect Halloween costume and getting your spook on this autumn!

I take my dressing up really seriously, I don't do things by halves and I literally won't go out unless my outfit is perfect!
Halloween 2008 - my first uni halloween! I bought this one online - I wanted to be Tinkerbell but the legit costumes were like £60! The wings were my own and I even bought a proper pair of ballet shoes to wear for the evening!

January 2009 - I don't really remember why I was in this, I think we all just went out dressed up randomly! I look ridiculous!

Halloween 2009 - I don't have a full photo - but the accessories (ears, collar, gloves) all came from an Ann Summers set and then the rest was put together by me - fishnets, heels, a leopard print skirt and black vest. This is definitely one of my favourite ones!

October 2010 - Instead of heading out for halloween, my sister was visiting so we decided to have a classy one and head to the Bongo Ball instead. Obviously it was animal themed, so we both work animal print dresses and draw paw designs on our faces! This was one of the most fun nights I've had at a ball in St Andrews.

July 2011 - HIHO Pirate party. So much fun and not a bad outfit put together to say I was living on a boat for a week! This was all put together by me - I even have a skull neckerchief around my head!

Halloween 2011 - this is my FAVOURITE costume of all time. I've wanted to go as Lara Croft for so long it's ridiculous!! I bought the boots, top and shorts from Primark and all of the rest of the accesories and wig were picked up so cheaply on eBay! I'd go around dressed as Lara all day everyday if I could :D

March 2012 - I think this is the only one I've ever really disliked. It was a 'T' themed party for Tony's birthday - I tried to go as a teacher but I'm not overly happy with how it turned out.

July 2012 - LMFAO Sorry For Party Rockin' Party! Another one of my ultimate favourite outfits with everything except the converse picked up cheap on eBay.

August 2012 -  GI Joe & GI Hoe party, an outfit made almost entirely of a cut up XXL camo tee!

Halloween 2012 - In the spirit of being prepared this year, I've already got my outfit for Halloween - Jokers' Masquerade kindly sent me this official Ghost Face Sexy Scream Costume* to review!! It's the first time I'll have worn an entirely bought outfit, I might have to team it with some fishnets though - what do you think, is there anything you think I should accessorise it with?

I don't want to spoil the surprise by wearing it, but the outfit fits so well, the length and cut are just right - I love to feel a little bit sexy on Halloween but I don't like to be all slutty! You'll get to see after Halloween! Joke.co.uk prices are so reasonable, the best I've seen on the internet so far, you won't be disappointed if you're looking for fancy dress UK based!

Which is your favourite outfit? Have I given you some great inspiration for Halloween this year? ♥
