Top Picks: Back to School Gadgets

Hey guys! I'm back after a weekend of fun in Leeds for beautiful Charlotte's hen party which I can't wait to share all the details of - it was an absolutely brilliant few days!

For now, I've got a bit of a back-to-school post for you. Since I finally started my PGCE last week, all I've been able to think about is school, school, school. One thing I've found useful over the years, and especially with this course being placement based, is the power of a good gadget. I've picked out a few of my top back to school gadgets.

First and foremost, the one thing I'd say pretty much everyone needs, is a decent laptop. I've been looking around for something that is both affordable, but offers good specifications too. The best one I could find was this great Acer ultrabook laptop from John Lewis.
My second must-have gadget would almost definitely be a Kindle. I personally prefer the traditional black and white to the Kindle Fire, so I'd go for the brand new Kindle Paperwhite which looks great, is small enough to carry in your bag and will allow you to have all your textbooks with you in one places - including highlights, notes and annotations - what more could you need in a gadget for school?
Finally, I'd say invest in a good music player to keep you entertained on the journey to class and in your breaks. It's also a great way to download and listen to audiobooks and podcasts on the topic you're studying. My personal preference at the moment is the iPod Shuffle - it comes in cute colours and it's a steal at around £40.

What are your top back-to-school gadgets? ♥

    Lovely greets

  4. My Kindle Fire was a lifesaver through my MSc for reading PDF journal articles on the train - it was so handy to be able to download anything I needed and annotate etc. without having to carry round notebooks & pens.
Great list! Good luck with your PGCE :)
