Hello my lovelies!
I've been absent from Just Rach for a while because it's been a really hectic time over here in Rachael-land. I'm currently slap bang in the middle of four weeks of assessed teaching, and my goodness is it intense stuff. I am planning lessons until all hours every evening and then I'm sleeping as soon as I'm done. I pretty much don't sit down for a whole 5 days and then I spend the weekends completely exhausted like a vegetable in my bed. It's gruelling, but I'm really loving it!
I've taken some down-time to catch up on my blogging to do list (which is as long as both arms and both legs!) and so to start I've got a review of this amazing hand cream by Burt's Bees that was kindly sent to me by Chemist Direct.
Burt's Bees Almond & Milk Hand Creme* is super creamy, as you can hopefully see in the photos - but it absorbs into your skin beautifully. It didn't leave any lasting residue or oiliness which is something that bothers me about hand creams usually. I've been applying it every morning right after a shower and it does a magical job of keeping my hands lovely and soft - they often get quite dry during the winter, this weather doesn't agree with my skin - and so far they've stayed nice and moisturised and I can only put it down to the cream. I'm a huge fan of the smell of almonds and this cream doesn't let me down - it's a really rich, delicious, almondy smell that isn't too overpowering. A little seems to go a long way with this hand creme too, which is great considering it retails at just £7.47 - a real bargain if it'll last a while.
I definitely recommend this lovely hand cream, especially as a fan of Burt's Bees lipbalm, and never having tried their other products before - I'll definitely be keen to try out more from them now. At the bargain price this would make a fantastic Christmas present or stocking filler!
