Wishlist: Moving Home with Out There Interiors

Out There Interiors Wishlist
All going well (fingers crossed) I should be moving into my very own place within the next few weeks - it was supposed to happen in September but after a bit of a nightmare with the estate agents and solicitors we've had to put up a bit of a fight to get the previous tenant to leave (even though her lease expired in October...). Nonetheless, the end is in sight and finally it's looking like B and I can move ourselves out of my bedroom and into our own space. Yay.

Naturally, we've been going totally mad looking at all of the pretty furniture that's out there at the moment and gathering as much inspiration and ideas as possible for our new place. We really want to put our own stamp on it, which means lots of DIY items and a whole new project which we can't wait to share with you!

I've had my beady eye on the Out There Interiors website recently because of the gorgeous, quirky and unique items that they have to offer. After having an extensive browse through I picked out some of my favourites and it just so happened they all followed the same colour scheme and theme. Apparently shabby chic is what I'm into!!

Being a huge fan of having cute trinkets and bits of decor scattered about to make a home look cosy and personalised, I've really grown attached to the idea of decking my walls with items like the stag and the assortment of frames. Excitingly, I'm planning to have a room entirely dedicated to blogging in the new place, a bit of a studio really, and I can't think of a more suitable prop than the pretty wire mannequin. Both B and I are also really fond of natural wooden items, especially those that are carved, which is why I chose the gorgeous french style bedside table and the interesting powder blue shelving unit.

I am so excited to start decorating, creating and DIYing our new home!

What do you think of the wishlist I've put together? Is there a different style of home furnishings that you're more into, or are you a fan of Shabby Chic too?
