Miners Cosmetics Matte Effect Lipstick: Wonderland

Orange is the colour to reach for this spring, but since I can't resist a good old pastel/floral combo in these months of sunshine and showers I've decided that to incorporate the on trend orange into my outfits I'll be going for coral colours in my make-up.

The first orange toned lipstick I've tried out this season is a lovely matte colour from Miners Cosmetics* called Wonderland. It's my first experience with a matte lipstick and I'm definitely impressed. I always imagined that they'd be quite drying, but, to my surprise, this lipstick is very moisturising and feels very creamy when applied. It lasts a decent amount of time, but does come off when eating or drinking. I have found that because it is a matte lipstick it comes off less than regular lipsticks do throughout a normal days wear.

Overall, I'm really impressed. The colour suits my skin-tone nicely and goes well with a lot of the pastel outfits I've been wearing over the last few weeks. For the tiny purse friendly price of £3.99 you can't really go wrong with this one. I am constantly impressed with the brilliant quality of Miners products, especially when compared with their low prices. There are two other lovely shades in the Matte Effect range which can be purchased from the Miners website.

How are you wearing orange this season?

If you've got a spare moment I'd love it if you could pop over to the Company magazine style awards and nominate me for Best Personal Style Blog in association with Missguided - it would mean the world to me ♥

    1. I didn't know it had been around for a while. I only came across it last year. I've tried a lot of their products and most could easily compete with bigger brands in terms of quality especially for the prices! X
