It's 4pm on a weekday, which usually means your energy is starting to fade and you need that extra boost to get you through to 5pm and the end of another long day. Like most I am an absolute nightmare for reaching for the sugary unhealthy snacks for that last minute energy boost. Chocolate biscuits or sweeties are my biggest sins, it doesn't help that we have a "sugary boost" drawer in our classroom just for waning staff!
BRITA did some research and found that most people start to lose their energy at around 4pm and the majority will give themselves that last boost with a sugary snack. I don't think I have to tell you about the benefits of drinking water instead of eating sugar! Water is a fantastic source of energy and so much healthier for you that other things you might be more likely to reach for at 4pm.
