I can honestly say I've been blessed with relatively good genes when it comes to eyelashes. My half brit-half italian heritage definitely helps to make them long, thick and dark. The issue I have is that they naturally seem to point down-wards. No matter how hard I try to curl them, they seem determined to go back to their downward pointing stance as soon as they can.
Anyway, I've been trying out this really cool Eylash Enhancer Growth Serum* kindly sent to me to review by StyleLux. It comes in a nifty little gold tube, which I love the look of and is nice and compact too.
Basically, all you have to do is apply it to your lash line once a day, preferably in the evening, and the magic works while you're asleep. You may be asking why, if I'm already happy with my lashes, would I be using this stuff? Well - I use mascara most days, because I feel like it honestly just makes the difference between looking a little unkempt and looking like you at least made an effort to wash your face in the morning! This means that my mascara feels like it doesn't have as much impact for me on nights out when I really want my makeup to stand out. Falsies are an absolutely no-no for me. I have tried and failed multiple times. I've raged, I've cried and I've stuck them half way up my face. I am never going near them again - so I thought that I'd give this stuff a try to see if my daytime lashes could look better without so much mascara, which would mean that naturally my night time lashes would also pop like I want them to! (Complicated reasoning, I know, but this is how my brain works!)
I have to say that I am very impressed with QuickMax. I wasn't sure that it could honestly work, or do much for me. Some people see results in just one week, for me it took a little longer - but I have definitely noticed much fuller, thicker lashes if nothing else.
You can also use the serum on eyebrows - I haven't tried it on mine yet, but I might just give it a go. I love my thick eyebrows and I'm worried that they're thinning as I get older. I'll have to let you know how it goes.
How do you create a full, thick lash look? Have you tried a growth serum?
