Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil Deep Replenishing Treatment

I've not popped up a beauty post in a while, so I thought it was about time I told about a little miracle I've been using on my hair.

As you all know by now I've got pretty long insanely long hair and even though I wouldn't say it's difficult to maintain (I'm about the least high maintenance person ever), every now and then it needs a little boost. For the longest time I would opt for a hair mask treatment when my hair was starting to look a little lifeless, but since I was sent the Matrix Biolage Hot Oil to try I've not looked back.

The treatment comes in a box with ten little 10ml bottles, which is enough for ten separate treatments - even on my long locks! Not having to use it all that often also means that it lasts absolutely ages. I've had the product for a while now and I've still got some bottles left. I use a capsule about once every two months or so.

You can either use the oil hot or cold. I always opt for heating it up a little first as it really gives that deep treatment my hair needs. Otherwise it's a simple case of rinsing your hair, popping it on, massaging it in, leave to soak up and then rinse out!

I am always super happy with the results after using the treatment on my hair. It looks and feels healthier, as well as being shiny and super soft too. The macadamia, argan and moringa oils are all super beneficial for your hair and have the added bonus of smelling great.

I always worried with hot oils that they'd leave hair super greasy afterwards, but there was no build up at all. It provides that perfect boost when your hair is starting to look and feel a bit tired.

You can pick up the Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil Deep Replenishing Treatment (a mouthful, I know!) from Fabriah for the bargainous price of  just £15.50 - which is excellent considering how much you get in the pack!

Have you ever used a hot oil treatment before? What did you think of the results?

    1. I think I might have to go on a hunt for some others and see how they compare. I've never used any other Matrix products, but I'm impressed enough to give them a try :) x

  4. This looks like a wonderful product, Rach, thanks for sharing! I use dry conditioners as opposed to oils, since I do find that oils leave my hair a bit too greasy. I do like using an oil on my ends the night before I wash my hair, though, because that way I can wash it off and my hair still looks clean :) I would love to follow each other, just let me know on my blog if you would like to as well!

    1. Hi Dolce,

thanks for the lovely comment! I've never heard of dry conditioners before - I might have to give them a go. I only wash my hair once a week or so because it's so long it takes forever to wash and dry, and uses so much product. I've trained my hair to stay looking fresh for so long many years ago and so a good deep treatment works wonders every few months :)

I'm heading over to see your blog now x
