Manchester Pride with TC Airlines UK

Manchester Gay Pride Parade Thomas Cook
Is there honestly anything that makes you happier than a rainbow? I don't think so!

A few weeks ago I was kindly invited along to the happiest, most rainbow filled event you can imagine as a guest of the main sponsors Thomas Cook Airlines. I excitedly grabbed my best mate and we made our way into the city centre for Manchester Pride 2015.

We snaked our way through the streets in search of the Gay Village, and finally knew we were on the right track when we started to see a hint of colour, turning into a fully fledged rainbow explosion!

We made a beeline for the perfect empty spot to watch the parade. We grinned from ear to ear as the beautiful, weird and wonderful stomped through the streets of Manchester. The happiness was contagious.

After the parade we wandered through the streets some more, heading for the Gay Village, and even bumped into some colourful characters along the way!

We slowly made our way around the jam packed village streets - indulging in some people watching and picking out the perfect spot for a nibble and a drink, before deciding where to head next...

We scooted over to the main stage to grab a good viewing spot, crack open some summer cider and get ready to musically blast away the summer holiday blues. I'd just got back from two fun filled weeks in Ibiza, where I saw some incredible artists - Karen Harding was amazing live at Ibiza Rocks Hotel and I was excited to be able to see her again so soon, as well as DJ Fresh who is one of my favourites!

We danced until our feet hurt, and then headed (a little wobbly) off into the sunset to rest our weary heads.

Both of us had such a fantastic time at Manchester Pride, huge thanks to Thomas Cook Airlines for inviting us. It was my first time at Pride, but I'm already excited for next year. It was a weekend filled with nothing but contagious happy vibes and we've left chock full of laughter and great memories.
